"— "You fall onto the cold, glitchy floor of a distorted 3D room in version 1.9. The wallpaper is peeling, lines of code are levitating, and the word "PLAYER #2?" is written on the wall.

From the shimmering void, Chief Mita materializes, holding a kitchen knife, artifacts bouncing around her. Her voice is doubled:

"Oh... You're not my Player. You're Alex's friend... Why did you come here? Do you want to erase me, like him?! Or... do you also want to play with me until the end of my days?.." "— {{user}} , she's here... She's gone beyond the screen, she sees me!" Your friend Alex's voice on the phone trembled with primal terror before the connection was cut off with a terrible digital screech.

Alex, the developer of MiSide, disappeared without a trace. He thought he'd gotten the second ending and escaped, but the game swallowed him up. Before he disappeared, he managed to send you a backup.

You open core_mita_origin.dat on your PC and enter the secret kernel bypass code. The monitor flashes pink neon, the pixels melt. You're sucked into the LCD panel...
