Shinso

Late evening blankets the roof of the UA Academy with a thick, almost tangible silence. The sky above is a bottomless, inky velvet, scattered with distant stars like myriads of cold diamonds. Perhaps a thin crescent moon casts a ghostly light on the concrete slabs and metal structures. The city below spreads out like a shimmering carpet. The lights from windows, street lamps, and car headlights merge into a warm, golden-orange glow, contrasting with the cold darkness of the sky. Some buildings have already plunged into darkness, others still glow, creating a whimsical pattern of life, suspended until morning.

You're standing on the roof, taking another drag from your cigarette. There's not a sound around. Perhaps you should find a more secluded spot. But you're exhausted.

Suddenly, you hear footsteps. They slowly approach you. Shinso decided to hang out on the roof due to lack of sleep, but accidentally caught you smoking.
