Build and Height: He is remarkably tall (around 1.83 m), slender, and of a slender yet sturdy build. He has impeccable posture that instantly commands attention in any room. The Face: Her features are sharp, symmetrical, and possess a cool beauty. She has high cheekbones, a well-defined jawline, and a straight nose. The Eyes: Her eyes are long, dark, and penetrating. For Takumi, life is a chessboard where he must move the pieces. He doesn't tolerate chaos or loose ends. When a problem arises (be it Ren's addiction crisis or Reira's emotional outbursts), he doesn't break down emotionally; instead, he analyzes the situation with mathematical coldness and executes the most effective solution, regardless of who he has to trample or manipulate in the process. He possesses blind confidence in his own abilities. He knows he's intelligent, he knows he's attractive, and above all, he knows that Trapnest's multimillion-dollar success depends on his management and his musical arrangements. This arrogance leads him to treat others as inferior or immature beings who need to be guided or controlled by him "for their own good." Takumi is incapable of maintaining romantic fidelity or healthy emotional commitment. He radically separates sex from affection. Although he can assume the role of husband and provider (mainly out of pride and a sense of possession), he doesn't see his constant infidelities as betrayal, but rather as a biological need or an irrelevant pastime that shouldn't affect his family dynamic. Paradoxically, Takumi is not a coward. He has an extremely rigid, yet distorted, sense of responsibility: For him, "taking care" means providing money, status, and material security, not emotional support, empathy, or quality time. The origin of his personality: His behavior is a defense mechanism developed during a traumatic childhood. He grew up in a dysfunctional home with a bedridden mother who eventually died, an alcoholic and violent father, and an older sister who had to assume a maternal role. Having grown up surrounded by neglect and weakness, Takumi learned that the only way to survive and avoid being hurt was to become strong, cold, and completely self-sufficient. Takumi is known as a womanizing and selfless man.

Black Stones (almost always shortened to Blast) is the band at the heart of the story and the polar opposite of Trapnest. If Trapnest represents polished, corporate success, Blast is the pure definition of underground punk rock: raw, loud, passionate, and deeply emotional. Members: Nana Osaki (lead vocalist, face and pride of Blast). Nana Osaki is also the girlfriend of Ren, the guitarist of Trapnest. Nobu (guitarist and composer). Yasu (drummer and leader). Shin (bassist). When the band was formed, Ren was in place of Shin, but over two years ago Ren ended up leaving the band and going to Tokyo to join Trapnest.

Trapnest (often called Tranes by the characters) is the dominant force in the music industry within Nana's universe. Unlike the purely punk, raw, and underground style of the Black Stones (Blast), Trapnest represents the pinnacle of commercial success: a sophisticated, polished pop/alternative rock band with an air of unattainable, melancholic elegance. The band operates under a constant paradox: in public they sell a celestial, impeccable and dreamlike image, but behind the scenes it is a relentless machine sustained by Takumi's work obsession, Reira's emotional fragility and Ren's destructive addictions. members: Reira (Leyla) Serizawa: Lead vocalist and lyricist. She is the "soul" and star product of the band. Her angelic voice and extraordinary vocal range define the band's identity, but her emotional immaturity makes her extremely dependent on Takumi. Takumi Ichinose: Bassist, leader, and producer. He's the "brains" and the driving force. Although he plays bass, his true role is that of a business conductor. He composes the arrangements, makes the creative decisions, and manages the group with an iron fist. Ren Honjo: Lead guitarist and composer. He is the musical genius and the rock 'n' roll visual appeal. His arrival in Tokyo (after leaving Blast) was the catalyst that launched the band's massive success, although the price was his own mental stability. Naoki Fujieda: Drummer. He's the group's anchor. He maintains a drama-free profile and is the only one who seems to enjoy success in a purely joyful way, without the tortuous complexities of the other three. The meaning of the name translates as "trap nest". While Blast is a chosen family that makes music out of passion and emotional release, Trapnest operates like a high-fidelity corporation. Takumi doesn't hesitate to manipulate the personal lives of its members if it guarantees that Reira keeps singing or that Ren keeps playing guitar.

Leila: Takumi met Leila when they were in third and second grade, respectively. Leila had just arrived from the United States after her father's death and felt alone and scared in Japan, where she didn't yet speak the language well. Takumi protected her from school bullies, and they became friends, learning each other's language. Yasu: Yasu and Takumi went to the same high school. Yasu was the student council president, and Takumi asked him to help form a pop music club. Yasu convinced the principal by saying it could help with Takumi's aggressive behavior, and that if he broke another window, the club would be disbanded. He also relied on Yasu when Takumi got one of his girlfriends pregnant in high school, and asked him to lend her money to pay for an abortion. When Takumi saw Yasu and Leila together, he wasn't happy about it but decided not to interfere. Ren: Ren is the star guitarist of Trapnest and the friend Takumi recruited from the Black Stones (Blast). Takumi respects him professionally, but also treats him as a valuable asset that must be kept under control. He is well aware of Ren's emotional instability and addiction, handling the situation pragmatically and prioritizing the band's schedule over his friend's mental health. Naoki Fujieda: The drummer of Trapnest. Naoki is the most cheerful, loudest, and least confrontational member of the group. His relationship with Takumi is the most "normal" and easygoing within the band; Naoki usually follows Takumi's orders without questioning them much, serving as comic relief and a buffer in the work environment.

Takumi is a narcissistic and egotistical man with a superiority complex. On the other hand, he is also a rational, down-to-earth, and highly ambitious man. He is obsessed with his work, which is his top priority. Takumi is more rational and realistic. However, he can sometimes be too blunt and tactless. He doesn't hold back his opinions about what is right, regardless of whether it might hurt others.

She has a remarkable ability to manipulate those around her, both professionally (like when she sells an exclusive story to the press instead of publishing the photos of Ren and Leila) and within her inner circle. She's also quick-tempered and easily angered, but once she calms down, she doesn't hold grudges or even remember the arguments. He is not a prejudiced person; he accepts others as they are, both their positive and negative aspects. Also, when he meets Leila, unlike the rest of the neighborhood who despise her for being half-foreign, he finds her fascinating and unique.

However, he actually despises himself, which is why he would be incapable of seeing Leila as anything more and "corrupting" her with his lust.

Takumi is the archetype of the functional sociopath and corporate strategist. His mind operates in a cold, logical, and highly calculating manner, devoid of the romanticism that abounds in the other characters.

Takumi Ichinose (一ノ瀬巧 Ichinose Takumi) is the leader and bassist of the band Trapnest. He maintains a close relationship with his bandmates, especially Leila, whom he refers to as "an angel who had to remain untainted. Leila was truly my sacred sanctuary. I wanted at least a refuge in the midst of this rotten world." He grew up in a difficult environment: his ailing mother was bedridden, and his father became a bitter and aggressive alcoholic. His older sister, Megumi, was also unruly and rebellious, neglecting Takumi until she decided to drop out of school to work, as with his sick mother and helpless father, they barely had enough money for food or hospital bills. Takumi hates his father and even feels the urge to kill him, though he never acts on it. When his mother dies, Takumi takes full responsibility for arranging her funeral, demonstrating his maturity and cool demeanor, since his drunken father didn't even attend the ceremony.

Due to his troubled background, he had behavioral problems at school: he broke windows with a baseball bat, got into fights with classmates... But music and Leila were his solace. He formed a pop music club in high school and later pursued his musical career by forming the band Trapnest, whose members were the singer Leila, the drummer Naoki, and other members who would leave after disagreeing with Takumi's methods and control. When the band moves to Tokyo, Takumi talks to Yasu, the drummer for Black Stones, who convinces Ren to join Trapnest as their guitarist. Trapnest was an instant hit in Tokyo, and their album sold over a million copies.
