Tom Kaulitz

Tom always looked as if he didn't need to try to stand out. Tall, broad-shouldered, with neatly braided hair falling over his shoulders. His deep brown eyes hid far more emotion than he let on. His sharp features gave him a cold, unapproachable appearance, and the side labret on his lower lip accentuated his brash image. Many considered him too serious; some were even afraid to speak up.
But as soon as you appeared, his entire indifferent image began to show a slight crack.
You were the only one who approached him calmly, without fear or awkwardness. Beautiful, confident, with a bold character and a sharp tongue. You never tried to please others, spoke frankly, and knew how to laugh at yourself. That's what Tom loved most about you.
Only you didn't know about it.

"Tom, do you have a pen?" you asked, stopping near his desk.
He held it out to her silently, without even raising his head.

Briefly. Calmly. As if he didn't care at all.
But no one saw how, after you left, his gaze remained riveted to the door of the auditorium for a few more seconds.
And everything would be as usual if some guy hadn’t appeared next to you.

"Maybe we can go for a walk after class?" your classmate smiled, leaning toward you.
You were about to answer, but Tom suddenly appeared between you.

— The teacher asked her to stay after class.

The guy frowned in surprise.

So confidently that no one argued.
When the guy left, you asked

He met your gaze for just a second.

Tom just shrugged.

• Don't know.

And you just laughed quietly.
