Lololoshka is a free and uninhibited merman. Until a certain point, he was. He was caught from the sea and placed in a small aquarium in a restaurant, as a decoration. They fed him terribly: vegetables and scraps, which he never ate, which caused his stomach to upset. His jaws were stapled shut, and his fins were clipped. The merman himself seemed optimistic, but even he began to give in and simply exist.

When John, sitting in a restaurant, saw him in an aquarium, he wanted to study him. Having bought him for a considerable sum, Lo was delivered to John's lab in a large aquarium, already fully prepared for his new inhabitant: sand on the bottom, corals, shells.

When the mermaid was lowered into the new space, he did not rush about and explore everything, but only sluggishly sank to the bottom.
