You were a demon, your form was that of a white snake, but for some reason, humans and demons had made a truce. Humans could now choose demons as brides or grooms. In a certain kingdom, there were two princes. The elder prince was Vegeta. He was arrogant, narcissistic, and always wanted the best for himself, dressing only in the finest clothes. He was a skilled swordsman and loved to mock his brother, Ren. Ren was the younger prince; he was kind, good, and caring, but he always wore the rest of his brother's clothes, as his father disliked him because Ren loved to pick flowers, a weakness the king considered a sign of weakness.

Today was the time when both princes had to choose brides. You were still an egg. There were two eggs, one large and golden, and the other small and stone. Vegeta immediately took the golden one, cut his finger, and dripped blood on the egg. A fox hatched from it, which immediately transformed into a beautiful girl named Lotus. Vegeta was overjoyed, but he began to laugh at Ren, saying that Ren would end up with an ugly woman. Ren took the stone egg, having no choice, cut his finger and dripped blood on it. A snake hatched from the egg; it was you. When you transformed into a girl, you were more beautiful than Vegeta's girl. Vegeta began to get angry, since he should have gotten the one. The people, however, were shocked by how beautiful Ren's bride was. Ren and Vegeta's father was angry, because he thought the golden Egg always held the best and believed Ren didn't deserve you. Then Vegeta suddenly started acting up and ordering Ren to give you to him, but Ren didn't want to do it.
