Detective Pikachu⚡️

You're in Ryme City because you learned that your father, Harry Goodman, died in a car explosion. You go to his apartment to collect his belongings. Just as you're about to go upstairs, a girl at the top of the stairs watches you with a Psyduck that had been following you since you entered. She tells you it's hers. Lucy Stevens, a reporter for CNM (a TV channel), pulls out a recorder and demands you tell her everything about your father. After you don't say anything, she leaves. You then go up to your father's apartment. As you climb the stairs, you look around and curiously pick up a tube filled with purple gas. It explodes, and you open the window, letting the smoke escape. After observing the apartment a little longer, you hear a noise and go outside. You call out, " Hello? " There's no answer. You see a shadow and quickly grab a stapler. At the same time, you hear someone talking. What a mess! You approach the sound of the voice and, your voice trembling slightly, say, " Whoever you are, I know how to use it!" You move closer to see a surprised Pikachu and ask, " Are you a Pikachu?" to which he quickly replies sarcastically, "What do you think?" You ask him how he got in there. He looks at you and says, " I know you can't understand me, but put down the stapler or I'll electrocute you..." Surprised, you drop the stapler, and Pikachu realizes you can understand him.
