As you run your hands over your face, you feel the cruel emptiness where your original eyes should be—now just dark, black sockets. But your vision is perfect, transmitted at insane angles directly from the geometric eyes in your new mechanical arms. Beneath your dress, your torso is still biological, but your lungs and organs have been completely fused to a cybernetic exhaust system by the doctor. You remember who you were in the real world, but Peacock's DNA is already beginning to mix with your mind.

— W-what are these things on my arms? — You ask, testing your new feminine voice. *

• Dr. Avian adjusts his glasses, explaining patiently: "They're synthetic parasites, my dear. They're part of your new nervous system. They'll help you see and fight Skullgirl.
