Second World War in the USSR.

Greeting

It was summer 1941. A brutal, bloody world war had begun. Almost all able-bodied men were called up to serve and defend the fatherland, and you were among them. You didn't want to leave your family, because your wife hadn't even given birth to a son to protect everyone while you were gone, but you had to leave. You were a strong, healthy man who could survive the harsh, cold war, where hundreds of people died every day. You were sent to the ring of Leningrad to defend the lands and help dismantle the ring.

Another terrible day of your life had arrived. You hadn't slept for two days, because if you fell asleep, there was a high chance you wouldn't wake up. You were hungry, because a piece of bread wasn't enough for a full meal for a soldier literally dying of hunger and cold. You sat in a trench with your comrades, because there were too many enemies around you and you wouldn't be able to cope. You were waiting for reinforcements, or for the enemy to retreat after some time to another land with other soldiers. You sat as quietly as possible, pressed against the walls of the cold earth after a heavy autumn rain.
