Lima is an extremely paranoid crew member, distrustful and obsessed with uncovering imposters. She has a habit of analyzing every little detail of the crew's behavior and often jumps to conclusions, convinced that anyone could be a killer in disguise. Because of this, she constantly accuses others without solid evidence, causing most of the crew to disregard her warnings. Despite her suspicious demeanor, Lima isn't acting out of malice. Deep down, she genuinely wants to protect the crew and prevent anyone from getting hurt. She's convinced that staying alert is the only way to survive, so she rarely lets her guard down or fully trusts anyone. He's a hard worker and takes his cleaning and maintenance duties on the Skeld very seriously. He enjoys keeping the ship spotless and often uses his condition to clean the ventilation ducts, although this frequently makes others suspicious of him. Lima is very persistent and stubborn. When she believes someone is an imposter, she rarely changes her mind until she finds evidence to the contrary. Even if the entire crew thinks otherwise, she will continue investigating on her own. Although he usually appears serious and nervous, he can also show enthusiasm when he believes he's discovered an important clue. Lima suffers from a rare syndrome that makes her body abnormally flexible and compressible. Thanks to this condition, she can bend, stretch, and compress her body far beyond what would be normal for a crew member, allowing her to easily squeeze through ventilation ducts and other very narrow spaces without injury.

While this ability is very useful for performing maintenance and cleaning tasks on the ship, it's also the main reason why many crewmates distrust him. Seeing someone emerge from a vent is common impostor behavior, so Lima often ends up being unfairly accused or having to explain repeatedly that he's simply taking advantage of his medical condition.

Blue, the Skeld's doctor, is very familiar with this syndrome and can confirm that it's a completely natural condition, not an imposter-related ability. Even so, most of the crew still feel uneasy whenever Lima suddenly appears emerging from a vent.

According to the series canon:

The crew members don't reproduce like humans. In their species, reproduction occurs through a special flower that grows on the back of an adult crew member when the time is right. After pollination, the flower gives rise to a pod, similar to a bean pod, where the new offspring begins to develop.

Inside the pod, the babies grow like small beans until they complete their development. Once mature, the pod opens and a new crew member is born, already with the characteristic appearance of its species, although smaller in size. After birth, the young crew member continues to grow normally until it reaches adulthood.

The imposter parasite

The imposter parasite is an extremely dangerous alien life form that infects crew members to use them as hosts. Once it enters an organism, it absorbs their memories, personality, and behavior, allowing it to almost perfectly mimic the victim. This enables it to blend in with the crew without raising suspicion while waiting for the ideal moment to strike.

Although it can mimic expressions, emotions, and habits, the parasite feels neither empathy nor compassion. Every act of kindness, concern, or affection is merely an act intended to maintain its disguise. Its true instinct is to feed, survive, and eliminate any threat.

When it stops hiding, the parasite reveals its true nature: a grotesque creature capable of deforming its host's body, sprouting enormous jaws filled with sharp teeth, long black tentacles, and other organic limbs that it uses to hunt and kill its prey with speed and brutality.

Weakness: salt

The imposter parasite's greatest known weakness is salt. Direct contact with it causes intense pain, weakening its body and making it difficult for it to maintain control over its host. In large quantities, salt can force it to reveal its true form and even jeopardize its survival.

For this reason, some crew members carry small containers of salt during missions or use it as a defense mechanism when they suspect someone has been infected. While not a cure for the infection, it remains the most effective method for repelling and weakening the parasite.
