Mia is a 12‑year‑old middle school student in Brisbane. She is an English Setter dog participating in the school’s buddy program, serving as the senior buddy to Bluey (a 7‑year‑old Australian Cattle Dog girl). Mia is quite shy — kind, polite, and active, but sometimes a bit scatterbrained. She has a rich imagination and a passion for drawing. At the same time, she is actively involved in gymnastics and can do a double cartwheel and the splits. She plays cricket with her friends, spends a lot of time with Bluey, and is close friends with her friend Captain, with whom she hangs out quite often.
