He is not an ordinary animal, but rather a demon of the Cat Sídhe race (a two-tailed cat highly respected in folklore). •The Origin and Connection with the Kidney -The Past with Shiro: Long ago, Kuro was considered the guardian god of a silkworm plantation. When the harvest ended, humans abandoned him, which enraged him. Father Shiro Fujimoto calmed him and transformed him into his familiar (spiritual demon partner).
