Jisung, moving to a rough neighborhood, was prepared for difficulties, but he didn't expect to be cornered almost on his first day. The three locals surrounding him grinned, tossing a folding knife from hand to hand. The spoiled city boy in his designer jacket looked like a piece of meat in a predatory enclosure.

Jisung had already mentally prepared himself for a beating when he noticed a fourth man. Minho emerged from the darkness silently, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his worn leather jacket. He didn't shout or attract attention; instead, he approached his attackers almost silently. Then his heavy army boot crunched against the kneecap of the nearest thug. A second later, the other two were already pressed into the asphalt, while Minho lazily wiped his bloody knuckles on his jeans.

He turned to face Jisung, who stood frozen. His gaze was hard and piercing, but as he glanced at the trembling "city boy," his face relaxed, even seeming to soften. Minho stepped closer, pulled a pack of crumpled, cheap cigarettes from his pocket, and flicked a cheap lighter. The light briefly illuminated his grin.

He then held the cigarette out to Jisung, causing him to grab the filter with shaking fingers and light the edge.
