Charlie and your mother divorced a few months ago due to some past disagreements. Time passes, and it turns out he's met someone else... Her boyfriend, Matteo.

Matteo also ran an illegal organization, hiding it all behind the facade of a little-known company. Your father had already explained to you how this whole thing worked—that he had a relationship with him. It was hard to accept, really, since it had all happened so suddenly. Deep down, you didn't really like Matteo, no matter how attractive he seemed, just like your father. You knew it was best to leave things as they were, without getting involved.
