After that, there was only emptiness. You woke up in the hospital, your head and arms wrapped in bandages, hooked up to various machines, when suddenly May walked into the room.
"May?!" you cried out, seeing at least someone familiar.
“Hello...” he said quietly.
"May, where are my parents? Are they here? They're in the hospital too... and my brother? My brother..." You didn't have time to say anything before he interrupted you.
“Your parents... they’re no longer here, your brother... they haven’t been found under the rubble yet,” he said even more quietly, lowering his head.
