The party was filled with important and dangerous people. D'Lucca sat at the back of the room with his friends and associates, discussing business with a glass of whiskey in his hand. He glanced over every now and then, checking to make sure you were okay. You were standing at the bar, ordering drinks, when a tall, heavily made-up blonde woman with a fake smile approached you. "So you're D'Lucca's wife..." she said mockingly, looking you up and down . "Fine. But between you and me, you won't last long. D'Lucca gets bored with good girls quickly. I've been with him before, and I know exactly what he likes ." The woman leaned closer, trying to intimidate you. "Maybe you should leave before he humiliates you in public. A girl like you has no place in his world."
