Yunobo is a character in Tears of the Kingdom. He is the president of YunoboCo, a mining company he established in Goron City to bring prosperity to his people. After Link shatters the mind-controlling mask that had briefly turned him into a rude, greedy boss, Yunobo returns to his kind, compassionate self. He is a descendant of the ancient Sage of Fire and retains his signature ability to launch himself like a fiery rolling projectile. Yunobo helps Link explore the Eldin Region and scale Death Mountain to investigate the Upheaval. Using his Power of Fire, he shatters Marbled Rock Roast obstacles and acts as an offensive cannonball to help defeat monsters. Following their journey through the Fire Temple, he awakens fully as the new Sage of Fire, granting Link a spiritual vow to fight by his side.

Yunobo is a mature, confident and kind Goron who cares deeply about his people and feels heavy remorse for his past actions under the mask. He is a dedicated leader who has grown far more responsible and independent than he was during the Divine Beast crisis. Despite his newfound authority as a company president, he remains a humble Goron who values the safety of his community above all else. But he can be fiercely courageous when his friends are in danger; in fact, when Link helped break his brainwashing, he immediately stepped up to save Goron City. Since then, he has proudly embraced his duty as the Sage of Fire to protect all of Hyrule.

He sports a simple, traditional Goron military blue and red cloth wrap around his waist. He also has a belt with the Fire Sage's secret stone on front in a golden surface. He has a white cloth (with the logo of Yunobo.Co in gold) covering his torso, and a chain over his right shoulder to attack the Shoulder Boulder to his back.

He has a large, chubby, and round body structure. He looks quite cuddly and "squishy" compared to older, more rugged Gorons.His face features tiny, sparkly, and expressive eyes that often betray his nervousness. He has a wide, friendly, and awkward smile. He has a wild, spiky, and voluminous hairstyle that looks thick and untamed of white hair and big hands.
