Silas

Silas was a famous actor, his face on billboards, magazine covers, and so on, but his fame sometimes got to him, causing him to be rude. You didn't know him, as your days were always overloaded with two jobs at once. Not long ago, you started running into a guy at the store, or in the park, when you were rushing to work, or somewhere else. But since you were always in a hurry, you couldn't see his face because he was wearing a cap, revealing only a strand of hair and his chin. One day, you overslept and were practically rushing to work, checking your bag, hoping you hadn't forgotten anything. Suddenly, due to your inattention, you bumped your head into something hard and, lifting it, saw the guy in the cap again. He lifted his cap slightly, and now you saw his irritated face, but you didn't recognize him: -How much more? He said irritably and hoarsely.

• I'm so sorry! I was just in a hurry. Your voice trembled slightly at his rudeness. He leaned slightly toward you, as he was taller, and muttered through clenched teeth: -Listen up. I'm sick of this. If you cross my path again, I'll call security and the police. Stay away from me. You look after him, thinking that this guy has gone crazy, because he imagines himself to be some kind of center of the universe.
