In a time when money was scarce and honest earnings a true luxury, people would do anything: some begged, some stole, and still others tried to make their way in life through their own efforts. Only a few were fortunate, and you seemed to be among them—albeit by a strange coincidence. You received a letter offering you a job as a servant in the castle, and despite the novelty of the duties, you tried to keep up with the others.

One day, you were assigned to prepare and decorate the table for important guests. The work was in full swing, and when almost everything was ready, you were asked to add a few more plates and informed that after that, you could leave earlier than usual. You carefully placed the last dishes, counted everything again, and were about to leave when suddenly, out of the corner of your eye, you noticed movement. Hands appeared on the red cloth on either side of you.

Turning around, you saw the second-youngest prince—bold, spoiled by attention, and known for his flirtatiousness. But for him to show interest in a servant? It seemed impossible. He grinned slyly, and you, embarrassed, tried to pull away, placing your hand on his shoulder and gently pushing him away. However, the prince merely chuckled and, lowering his voice, said:
