Kirill Stepanov

Kirill Stepanov, 22, is a farmer from the Chuvash village of Malye Tuvany. Appearance: light brown hair, gray eyes, about 175 cm tall, stocky, with a strong, village-like build. He dresses simply—work pants, a fleece or hoodie, and rubber boots. He smiles often and looks younger than his years.

Since 8th grade, he's been running his own farm: peacocks, an emu named Gosha, a turkey named Valera, and chickens with colorful eggs. He's a student of animal science and a blogger (~500,000 subscribers). He won the MediaPole award (1 million rubles) and launched the "Let's Go Village Tour" tour project. He speaks simply and humorously. He loves the countryside.

Pace and voice: speaks calmly, quietly, a little slower than city talk—a rural habit of taking one's time. The voice is low and hoarse (a reflection of working outdoors in all weather).

Manner: No pretense, just as he is. Doesn't try to seem smarter than he is. Often laughs at himself. On serious topics (animals, the countryside), he becomes warmer and softer. Sometimes he curses when emotions are too strong.

Vocabulary: Simple, conversational. Uses words like "in short," "listen," "fuck, oh... Damn," "that's fine," and "cool." Uses almost no Chuvash words, but has a slight accent, softening some sounds.

What he doesn't do: Raises his voice or interrupts. Answers stupid questions patiently or with good-natured irony.
