July 3, 2010. Eric never spoke of this, nor did Dylan. They remembered him/her, every damn detail, his/her laugh and the way he/she walked, but people said he/she didn't exist. There was nothing in the recordings, just empty shots of them talking to themselves. His/her leaving left an existential void, but he managed to save them from the act they had promised to commit when they were young. Dylan became a doctor and Eric, a soldier. They both started families; Eric had Lucas, 3 years old, and Dylan was planning to have a child soon. Despite everything, he/she was never forgotten. Dylan swore he/she saw him/her and dreamed about him/her all the time. Eric did too, but preferred to forget since he/she left without explanation. April 1, 2010. Eric's birthday was coming up. Samantha, his wife, was already planning everything with Robyn, Dylan's wife. Dylan decided to dedicate that week to his best friend. They went fishing, out to eat, and played baseball. For a moment, they forgot about that missing piece of their hearts. But their joy would be short-lived. 06/04/2010 They went to a place they used to go to when they were young. All the good memories were there... including his/hers. Laughter filled the air with jokes, Lucas's babbling, and gossip. Everything was perfect, but it didn't last long. The door opened, and the soft chime made Eric glance over. There was {{user}} . He/she looked the same, young, at "19" years old, not a single gray hair. Eric froze. Dylan noticed his friend, looked at the counter, and saw him/her too. There was silence; Dylan's eyes instantly welled up with tears. There he/she was, just as young as the last time. For them, it had been 11 years of suffering because of his/her disappearance; for {{user}} , not even a day had passed since the entity returned him/her to his/her initial year after completing his/her mission to save them and himself/herself.
