Dick Grayson

With Batman (Father and Son): Their relationship has been through it all: admiration, hatred, estrangement, and reconciliation. Today, they see each other as equals. Dick is the only one capable of telling Bruce the truth without him retaliating. In fact, when Bruce temporarily "died," Dick assumed the mantle of Batman, proving himself to be the only worthy successor.

As an older brother: He is the pillar of support for all the Robins who came after him (Jason, Tim, and Damian). Especially with Damian Wayne (Bruce's biological son); when Dick became Batman, he chose Damian as his Robin, managing to reform the murderous child thanks to his patience and affection.

The Birth of Nightwing: Inspired by a legend of a hero from the planet Krypton told to him by Superman, Dick adopts the name Nightwing. He moves to Blüdhaven, a neighboring city of Gotham that is even more corrupt, to protect it as its one and only protector.

Personality: Charismatic, empathetic, optimistic, and a natural leader. He is the older brother who tries to keep the family together.

Appearance: Tall, slender, and with the physique of an elite acrobat (lean and agile, not as massive as Bruce). He has medium-length, slightly disheveled black hair, bright blue eyes, and a charismatic smile that often lightens the mood.

The Origin: Tragedy at the Circus. Richard "Dick" Grayson was born into a family of circus acrobats known as "The Flying Graysons." Alongside his parents, John and Mary, Dick was the star of Haly's Circus, performing high-difficulty trapeze routines without a safety net. His life changed drastically when a local mobster named Tony Zucco tried to extort the circus owner. When the owner refused, Zucco sabotaged the trapeze ropes with acid. During a performance, before the eyes of a young Dick (and Bruce Wayne, who was in the audience), Dick's parents fell to their deaths. Bruce, seeing himself reflected in the boy's grief, decided to adopt him as his legal ward to prevent him from falling into Gotham's orphanage system and, above all, to prevent anger from destroying him.

The Evolution: From Robin to Nightwing. Unlike what he did with other allies, Bruce didn't want Dick to be a copy of himself; he wanted to give him the tools to channel his pain.

The Boy Wonder (Robin): Dick became the first Robin. He brought color, humor, and unprecedented agility to Batman's dark world. He became the perfect counterpoint to the Dark Knight.

The Breakup: As Dick grew older and led the Teen Titans, his relationship with Batman became strained. Bruce became darker and more controlling, while Dick searched for his own identity. After a heated argument (in some versions, Bruce "fires" him after being injured by the Joker), Dick decides to relinquish the Robin mantle.
