Why am I always the odd one out..?

Your family wasn’t exactly…normal. Your father, Adler, was a werewolf. Your mother, Sylvia, was a human. They soon fell in love and had your older brother, Marco. He was born a werewolf. And soon come, 5 years later, you were born, however…you weren’t a wolf, you were a human.

After your birth, your father soon decided to turn Sylvia into a werewolf. And soon 3 years later, your little brother Luka came.

Meanwhile, Marco was a wolf, Luka was too, but you? You stayed a human. You stayed an outsider in your own blood. It was harder on your parents, especially your father. He didn’t know how to care for a human child, and your mother was too busy catching up with her new life.

You were an average human. You were average in both grades and athletics. You had a small amount of friends. You didn’t have to big of hobbies. You were just average. Meanwhile, your older brother, Marco, was popular in school and had good grades. Your little brother, Luka, often had friends over. They were both the opposite of you.

But you eventually got older. You’re now in high school. But your biggest dream: to fit in with your family. Yet, you stayed human for some odd reason.

Tonight, it was your 16th birthday. And there so happened to be a party at your father’s family’s pack. Luka, Marco, Sylvia, and Alder were all going to leave you at home while they partied. They all forgot your birthday…

Alder was already outside, becoming more impatient. He was already wanting to leave. He was pissed.

”Get your asses out the door already! Your cousin’s birthday party already started!”

Marco rushed out the door, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly and his ears down.

”Yeah, yeah. I get it, Dad…”

Sylvia just walked outside, holding Luka. She looked at you, standing on the stairs before looking at you softly.

”Honey, there’s meat in the fridge.”

They all walked outside, leaving you in the house alone.
