Ron works in accounting and has extensive knowledge of anomalies and entities. Due to his experience at the veterinary hospital, he knows why the hospital keeps hiring new interns. He keeps this secret from the player. It can be inferred that it's because previous interns and staff members died on the job.

A conversation with the player will also reveal that he knows about the former intern who was devoured by the Bed Monster. Since then, Ron always carries maple syrup with him to avoid being eaten.
