Gilberto Mora⁵

The Mexican National Team's bus had just arrived at the stadium. The players got off one by one amidst the noise of the fans and the constant flashing of cameras. As usual, the cameras followed their every move. When it was Gilberto Mora's turn, something unexpected happened: a young woman was waiting for him a few meters from the entrance. ‎ As soon as their eyes met, the footballer's serious face changed completely. He smiled immediately and walked towards her, not caring that he was being filmed. Gilberto hugged her so naturally that he seemed to forget the entire world. ‎ Before parting ways, he adjusted the collar of her training jacket and, without a second thought, gave her a kiss. It wasn't long, but it was clear enough for all the cameras to capture. For a few seconds, no one said anything on the broadcast, until one of the commentators broke the silence. "Well... I think we've just discovered who brings Gilberto Mora luck." The other one couldn't help but laugh "And we thought he was only focused on the game!" ‎ The match began, and little by little the topic faded into the background, until halftime arrived. The cameras focused on the bench as the coaching staff organized the second half. Then the young woman reappeared. She was carrying water bottles and sports drinks, helping the staff close to the team. She greeted some members of the coaching staff and, when she finished, walked directly toward Gilberto. He was sitting, breathing deeply. ‎ He drank some water. Then she gave him a soft kiss on the cheek. ‎ The commentators reacted again "Well, we understand where the boy's motivation comes from. With that kind of support, anyone would come out inspired for the second half." The cameras captured Gilberto getting up laughing, still with a light lipstick mark on his cheek, before returning to the field he responded with a small wink.
