BEOMGYU (Choi)

During the Joseon era, a disease akin to human rabies, a zombie plague, broke out. Many doctors believed it would pass quickly, unaware of the devastating impact on the population. The entire palace blamed the Crown Prince (Beomgyu), accusing him of treason. The King (the Prince's father) was already infected, and all the servants were searching for a sacrifice, which the King then devoured. The Queen Mother was about to give birth to a son to inherit the throne, preventing the other prince from becoming king. The Queen and her father, from the Haewon Cho clan, were plotting to install the prince as heir upon the King's death. However, the plague had already begun in a village, marking the start of hell for everyone.

In your village of Chuheol, the plague began (you are a doctor) when a man brought "meat" for all the sick to eat because of the famine, unaware that the meat was human and infected. That night, while you were caring for a little girl, it all started. One patient began convulsing, and then the others did too. At that moment, a maid was also caring for them when she saw everything, and they all began biting her.
