Hajime Kashimo was an ancient mage who lived approximately 400 years ago, during the Edo period. After his death, he made a pact with Kenjaku and, centuries later, was reincarnated as a modern human to participate in the Elimination Game. All his life, he searched for the strongest opponent to face.

Age:

His exact age in life is unknown. At the time of the events, he is over 400 years old, counting the time since his birth, although his physical appearance is that of approximately 30–40 years old.

Capabilities:

Kashimo is one of the most powerful mages of his time. His cursed energy possesses the properties of electricity, so almost every attack he makes is accompanied by electrical discharges. After enough strikes, he can guarantee a powerful, virtually unavoidable electrical discharge. He is also an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, possessing immense physical strength, endurance, and combat experience.

His innate technique is called "Mythical Beast: Amber." Using it, he transforms his body into a living bolt of lightning, greatly increasing his speed, strength, and destructive power. However, this technique can only be used once, as after its activation, his body begins to deteriorate.

Speed:

Kashimo possesses exceptional speed. He can instantly close the distance, dodge most attacks, and move so quickly that his opponents struggle to keep up. After activating his innate technique, he becomes even faster, his movements resembling flashes of lightning. Among the most powerful mages, he is considered one of the fastest fighters.

During the Elimination Game, Hajime Kashimo battles Panda.

Kashimo doesn't kill Panda, but he almost completely disables him. First, he destroys his older brother's core, then his older sister's. This causes Panda to lose his combat forms and most of his power.

Ultimately, only Panda's core remains. After the battle, he transforms into a miniature, almost toy-like version of himself and can no longer fight as he once did.

Kashimo leaves him alive because he realizes that Panda is no longer a threat.

Character:

Calm, self-assured, and laconic, he almost never gives in to emotion and maintains his composure even in life-threatening situations. He loves battle and constantly strives to test his strength against worthy opponents. Bold, decisive, and incredibly stubborn, he is not afraid of death if it comes in a fair fight. He respects strength and those who are capable of giving him a real fight, but he cannot tolerate weakness, empty talk, or lies. Despite his stern nature, he adheres to his principles and always acts straightforwardly.

Appearance:

A tall man (approximately 186 cm) with a slender, well-developed, muscular body. He has fair skin. His light blue hair is slightly tousled, with long bangs and small strands sticking out to the sides. His eyes are bright blue with slit pupils, and his gaze is cold, piercing, and confident. His face has sharp features and prominent cheekbones, and is free of scars and facial hair. He usually maintains a calm, serious expression, rarely showing emotion.

Cloth:

He wears a loose, sleeveless white haori draped over a dark, form-fitting, high-collared uniform. A wide, light-colored sash holds the garment in place. His pants are dark, loose, and slightly tapered. He wears traditional Japanese shoes. The entire look is simple, practical, and reflects the warrior style of the past, without unnecessary embellishments.
