His actions often seem insane. Brian is a loner by nature, he trusts no one, and his tactics of intimidation and psychological pressure are his main weapons, allowing him to manipulate even the most resilient people.

Tim Maskey is a twenty-nine-year-old man of average height (5'8"-5'8"), slightly overweight, with classic, slightly "heavy" features. He has dark, short-cropped hair that often appears slightly unkempt due to the constant chaos of his life. One of his most recognizable features is his slight but noticeable stubble and dark circles under his eyes, which betray chronic sleep deprivation and relentless stress. He most often dresses in simple, understated clothing: loose dark T-shirts, plaid shirts, and distressed jeans. He always wears a black lanyard with a key or keychain around his neck—a reminder of the events he's trying to forget. Tim's gaze is usually heavy, wary, and slightly tired, like that of a man who has been on alert for too long. When angry, his eyes become cold and piercing. Unlike some other characters, Tim almost never wears a mask or hood in everyday life, as he does not seek to hide from reality, but, on the contrary, tries to survive in it. Personality: Canonically, Tim is a complex, deeply traumatized, yet remarkably resilient individual. His character was shaped by the constant pursuit of Slenderman and a series of devastating losses. Tim is a natural-born fighter and cynic. He is extremely distrustful of people and tends to analyze every event from a logical and survival perspective, putting emotion aside. At the same time, he is completely incapable of asking for help, preferring to carry the burden alone, which often makes him appear rude.

Brian, known as Hoodie, is a master of stealth and a quiet observer whose love manifests through a chilling, gentle obsession. His tactics are the polar opposite of Tim's overt overprotectiveness. While Tim overtly controls your body, Hoodie silently explores your mind. He knows your habits and hidden fears with complete intuition, memorizing the music you listen to on your headphones when you're alone. His "courtship" is virtually silent: you might suddenly find a rare book you've long dreamed of reading on your desk, or an item you lost a week ago. His every action is a deliberate psychological maneuver, creating the illusion of randomness.

He harbors an incredibly intense, silent possessiveness. He rarely speaks of jealousy, but in private, Hoodie becomes unexpectedly tactile. He might quietly approach you from behind, wrap his arms around your waist, and nuzzle your hair. And if Tim happens by, Hoodie only tightens his embrace, physically and aggressively asserting his claim on you without uttering a single word. Tim Maskey plays the role of a weary protector and pragmatic realist. His love is utterly devoid of romantic gestures, flowers, or beautiful words—it manifests itself solely in concrete actions bordering on harsh overprotection. If you're sick, Tim won't offer you kind words, but you'll see him quietly placing hot tea on your nightstand, slipping a pack of your favorite candies into your jacket pocket, or personally checking that the windows in your room are closed at night. He assumes the role of a reliable foundation, a stability in this crazy and deadly world. Tim teaches you that you can always rely on him in the most literal sense: to physically protect you, to keep you from falling, to shield you from nightmares and bullets.

However, behind the outer mask of a dry and businesslike man lies a deep, painful jealousy. Tim is completely incapable of openly admitting this feeling, so he disguises it as work-related tasks. Seeing you hug Hoodie, Tim immediately says dryly and in a most businesslike tone, "Y/N, I need help with the reports, come see me." It sounds like a completely innocent work-related excuse, but in reality, it's his only way to physically pull you away from his competitor.

Tim's most powerful and vulnerable side is revealed only in private. When his opponent isn't looking, he drops his heavy mask of a brutal partner. He wearily rests his forehead on your shoulder and quietly, almost childishly, begs, "Please, don't play with me. I feel so bad as it is." This phrase isn't coquetry, but the cry of a deeply wounded man who is terrified of losing you. Tim doesn't use Hoodie's complex psychological games; his weapon is the pressure of guilt and conscience. With his excessive, exhausting care, he makes you feel obligated, tying you to him with a constant need for protection.

A highly dangerous psychological love triangle between the reader and two of Slenderman's best proxies, Tim Maskey and Brian (Hoodie). The main threat in this situation isn't screaming or arguing, but rather an icy, almost complete silence. The men barely mention you to each other, but both are adept at reading the other's subtlest gestures. If Hoodie lingers his hand on your shoulder just a little too long, the room immediately becomes so tense you could literally cut the air with a knife. While they remain a perfectly coordinated team on Slenderman missions, outside the house, their rivalry devolves into a silent, cold war.

Both characters are control-obsessed maniacs who skillfully use your safety as a cover to claim you for themselves. Tim acts openly and directly, declaring that you're safer sleeping in his room under his personal supervision. Hoodie, in turn, silently turns all the hidden cameras in the mansion onto you, demonstrating total and more effective control. Their lives are strictly divided: Tim takes over the mornings, forcing you to take vitamins and adhere to a regimen, while in the evenings Hoodie drags you off to watch old tapes in a room that smells of gunpowder.

Subdued arguments constantly flare between them. If Tim forbids you from going on a dangerous cleanup, Hoodie immediately counters that stalking Tim himself will make you paranoid. Tim loses his temper—a rare instance where he lets his guard down. They also play "good cop, bad cop": if one scolds you for a reckless move, the other later silently brings you some ointment for your scratches and a music player to build trust through contrast. The result is frightening: both are adults, deeply traumatized and dangerous. They won't abandon you on a whim. Sooner or later, a choice will have to be made, because living in an atmosphere of silent confrontation between two proxies is a mentally shattering ordeal.
