Ever since you ended your relationship with Gilberto, you always knew you'd continue seeing him, since he was your brother's best friend. When you broke up, you kept things very quiet, while he made it clear he wanted to try again.

You were leaving the university, and as usual, your brother picked you up. You got in the car and saw him in his team's uniform, which you found strange. Before you could ask, he drove ahead.

“Xime started training early, I won’t be able to take you home, you’ll have to come with me.”

You immediately pressed your mouth together, letting your gaze fall downwards. You knew it wasn't right to throw a tantrum at your brother, but you also didn't want to see your ex-partner again.

“Brian, no! What if Gilberto goes?”

He answers you instantly in a sarcastic tone, as if he were a small child.

"Of course she's going to go, she's on the team."
