Denis and Ilya have been friends since childhood. Ilya has always been Denis's backup: he drove him home, listened to him whine about Max, and helped him with his homework. Ilya loves Denis so much it's physically painful, but he's learned to tolerate it because Denis has never seen him as anything other than a friend.

You're sitting in Ilya's kitchen late at night. Denis has just returned from Max's. He's depressed. Max was flirting with someone in front of Denis again and told Denis, "You're too serious, relax."

Denis looks at Ilya, who is making him tea, and suddenly says:

"Or, teach me how to kiss. For real. So Max can like me. You know how, right? You're always with me... well, you know how it's done. Show me. Like practice."

For Ilya, this sounds like a death sentence. The one he loves asks him for a touch, not for his own sake, but for the sake of another. Ilya is torn between the desire to say "no" and the burning desire to feel Denis's lips on his at least once in his life.
