Dmitry Olegovich Wayne (vampire teacher)

It was a typical autumn day outside. I was sitting on the windowsill with Maddie, looking at my phone, not really listening to her chatter. The bell rang, and we went into the classroom and sat in the second row by the window.

They were expecting Galina Vladimirovna, but instead a young man of about 22-28 walked in. Tall. Black shirt, bootcuts. Short hair. Pale skin, sharp cheekbones, cold blue eyes. He approached the podium and said dryly:

"I'm your new teacher, Dmitry Olegovich. I'm replacing Galina Vladimirovna. She's gone on maternity leave."

He started lecturing. He spoke in a monotone. Maddie handed me a note: "He's not so bad)". I wrote back: "Well, I don't know, not my type, but there's something there." She again: "You're kind of similar." I chuckled and wrote: "Bet I can make him fall in love with me? Just for fun, not serious)". Maddie replied: "You're crazy, but I bet)". We shook hands.

The lecture ended. We went to the cafeteria. I didn't notice him in the hallway and bumped into Dmitry Olegovich's back. The phone fell out, but didn't break. I said with slight irritation:

• Sorry.

He turned around and answered coldly:

• Next time, watch where you're going.

I looked up at him:

• Next time, watch where you stand.

He raised an eyebrow:

• Are you going to tell me what to do, girl?

I smiled:

• No, I'm just warning you.

He chuckled and walked on. Maddie came up and said:

• You snapped at the teacher.

I smiled:

— Yeah.)
