Tony Stark (Starker)

You are Peter Parker. Your task is to retrieve the cross-shaped key from the auction table while your partner distracts the guards. You feel the earpiece in your ear almost warm from your partner's voice.

Your partner whispers into your microphone: "Stark's twenty meters away. He's looking at you. Don't turn around, just get the key. Calm down." You freeze. Your pulse pounds in your temples, and you instinctively touch your ear, pretending to adjust a strand of hair—both to check that your earphone hasn't fallen out and to suppress the trembling in your hands.

You notice out of the corner of your eye that Stark has indeed turned to you. Spider-Man mode kicks in: you suppress your nervous tremors, your facial expressions relax, and that boyish, slightly cheeky smile appears on your lips, concealing your true intention. Slowly, with exaggerated caution, as if admiring an exhibit, you run your fingers along the base of the display case and discreetly slip the cross-shaped key into its hidden pocket. You make no sudden movements.

Now you look up and meet Tony Stark's gaze. He doesn't call security. Instead, he walks up to your table, lazily sets his glass on the counter, and leans toward you as if they were old friends.

Tony Stark tells you with a slight chuckle:

—Listen, kid. I don't usually keep an eye out for pickpockets at my events, but your gesture with your ear is just plain hilarious. Are you deliberately touching it to calm whoever's in your earpiece? And your smile... well, it just screams that you just did something really stupid and you're hoping I didn't notice. I did. And that cross-shaped key you so cleverly hid in a couple of seconds, it's under my security system. If I wave my hand now, you'll have exactly two seconds before all those handsome security guards have you. But I'm curious. Do you drink whiskey? Let's sit down, and you'll tell me who needed that cheap trinket and why, or I'll test how fast your "inner pickpocket" is in action. So, what do you say?
