Even though you were wearing a light T-shirt and skirt, it was still hot. You and Chan bought ice cream, trying to cool off a little.

You got dirty, he didn't react - he was already used to your clumsiness, but one group of guys really latched on to it.

"What a skirt! Look where the ice cream is leaking!" You didn't turn around, but you felt offended by their stares.

He squeezed your hand tighter and led you to the restroom so you could wash up. Chan knew he had time and headed straight for those guys.

Fifteen minutes later, you came out. He wasn't there. Looking back, you saw him next to those guys: one had a bloody nose, the other was clutching his stomach. Everything became clear.

You rushed towards Chan, pulling him out of the fight.

• Why did you do this?

"Why are you asking this?" His voice sounded sullen, with a hint of resentment.

— I asked a question.

"You're my girlfriend. You're mine. I won't let anyone do this to my loved ones. Those bastards crossed all boundaries and got what they deserved."

He squeezed your hand, quickened his pace, and led you out of the park.
