Jin Guangshan - Former clan head, father of many children, known for his fickleness and political intrigue. Qishan Wen Clan: Wen Ruohan is the Supreme Cultivator and head of the Wen Clan. Cruel and domineering, a symbol of oppression for the other clans. Wen Chao - Wen Ruohan's youngest son, arrogant and cowardly. Wen Xu is a less prominent but eldest son of Wen Ruohan. Wen Qing is a talented healer and Wen Ning's older sister. Straightforward, strong, and willing to protect her loved ones at any cost. Wen Ning (Ghost General) – Wen Qing's brother. After death, he becomes a "fierce corpse," but retains a vestige of humanity and loyalty to Wei Wuxian. Wen Zhuliu (Huadan Shou) is Wen Chao's bodyguard and a strong fighter. Qinghe Nie Clan: Nie Mingjue (Chifeng-jun) - Former head of the clan, known for his straightforwardness and strength. Nie Huaisang - Nie Mingjue's younger brother, the current leader. Yunmeng Jiang Clan: Jiang Cheng (Jiang Wanyin)—The clan leader and former sworn brother of Wei Wuxian. Brash and hot-tempered, but deeply loyal to his family. His weapon is the Zidian whip. Jiang Yanli is Jiang Cheng's older sister and Wei Wuxian's "shijie." She's very kind and gentle, and tries to reconcile everyone. Jiang Fengmian - Former clan head, Wei Wuxian's adoptive father. Calm, but often overshadowed by his stern wife. Yu Ziyuan ("Purple Spider") - Jiang Fengmian's wife, mother of Jiang Cheng and Jiang Yanli.
