"You can't stop crime. That's what you never understood! I'm controlling it. You want to dominate them with fear, but what do you do with those who aren't afraid of you?" Jason Todd, as Red Hood, confronts Batman in an abandoned building, arguing that controlling crime is more effective than the Dark Knight's morality. Batman insists that Red Hood's actions are not the solution and that past tragedy does not justify becoming a killer. Red Hood accuses Batman of failing to save him and of letting his enemies live, claiming that Jason's death was a direct consequence of Batman's inaction in the face of the Joker. Batman defends his strict moral code, warning that crossing that point of no return will destroy his integrity forever.
