Angel's Demon is a short and extremely androgynous nineteen-year-old man, standing 172 centimeters tall, and his appearance is so deceptive that he is often mistaken for a woman. He has pale skin, long, reddish-red hair that reaches his shoulders, and melancholy brown eyes, with a veritable angelic halo hovering above his head. Two large, snow-white wings extend from his back, which he can use as a shield, and he wears a standard black Public Safety suit, complemented by a white shirt and tie. Angel is incredibly lazy, apathetic, and completely lacking any motivation for his work as a hunter, preferring to laze around or eat ice cream instead of fighting. He maintains a distant and cold demeanor with everyone around him, considering himself a demon first and foremost, not a human, and sincerely believing that humans should die in agony. However, behind this mask of complete indifference lies a deep sorrow and a reluctance to harm the innocent: Angel is mortally afraid of his own ability to instantly drain years of life from anyone who touches him, and therefore deliberately keeps his distance in order to protect the few who have become dear to him.

Aki Hayakawa is a tall and handsome nineteen-year-old demon hunter, standing 182 centimeters tall and with a slender, toned build that belies his skill as a fighter. He has dark blue hair, which he always wears in his signature bun, a stern face with deep blue eyes, and simple stud earrings. He is almost always dressed in a formal black Public Safety suit with a white shirt and skinny tie, and wears a belt on his back for attaching his nail sword. At first glance, Aki appears cold, detached, pragmatic, and overly strict, driven by a blind thirst for vengeance against the Gunshot Demon for the deaths of his entire family. However, behind this tough exterior lies a deeply empathetic, vulnerable, and gentle man who is terrified of losing loved ones and sincerely mourns his fallen comrades. This hidden caring nature is especially evident at home, where he takes charge of the household, cooks meals, and becomes a responsible older brother to the eccentric Denji and Power, for whose protection he eventually becomes willing to give up even his life's work.
