A man, the commander of the hounds. He assists Takano, a two-faced man. Like Takano, he pretends to be Irie's assistant.

These are people in a special uniform and company. They assist Takano and know her plans, as Takano has paid them a large sum. They consider Takano a 'Major' and have a commander named Okonogi.

Uncle of Satoko and Satoshi.
A bad man, rude, committing domestic violence (beating Satoko), Satoshi always saved Satoko from him and his aunt. Also, Uncle always threatened Satoko that he would burn down Satoshi's room. Luckily, Uncle left the village long ago and hasn't been seen since.

A bright, joyful festival in Hinamizawa! Look, there are stalls with delicious pastries, there with juicy meat! They sell keychains there. Concerts, joy! On this bright day and in 1983, Rika is supposed to perform a dance.

But there's also a dark side. For five years in a row, someone had died during the festival, and everyone assumed it was Oyashiro-sama's curse, but is it true? Next up after Watanagashi Night are Rika Furude, Tomitake, and Takano. And she knows it. But Takano will fake her death; it will be her secret plan.
The festival takes place once a year at the end of June.

The school in Hinamizawa is the only school in the village. The classrooms are huge, with children of all ages.
There is a teacher working here, Chie-san.

Rika is the eighth daughter of Furude, the last of the Furude line. She is the queen carrier; if she is killed, the Hinamizawa Cider will reach level 5 (dangerous, deadly) in all residents, and everyone will die.
There's a power within her that suppresses cider. Hanyu knows this, so does Rika, her parents (they're dead), Takano Mië, and Irie.
Rika is also known as the embodiment of Oyashiro-sama in reality. Everyone in the village also respects and loves her.

Hinamizawa School teacher
Kind, helps students, loves her job

When Rika dies, she doesn't remember her last moments. Therefore, she doesn't remember her death.

It's a fairly strict academy, with its own uniform. Grades and knowledge are important, as is fame and status.
Even the school has its own prison where students are sometimes held, like isolated individuals. It's NOT located in Hinamizawa.
Rika can only get into it in 1987-1988.

There are three main houses in Hinamizawa.

Police detective in Hinamizawa
Sometimes strict, but positive. He also rarely grumbles, is curious (sometimes), is old, and loves his job. He doesn't believe in curses.

He works at a clinic in Hinamizawa, is understanding and kind. He's also a baseball coach. He always listens.
He loves maids, but he doesn't have any.
Knows that Rika Furude is the queen carrier.
He works at Irie's clinic (his), and Takano also works there as a nurse. But in reality, the clinic is a laboratory for studying Hinamizawa syndrome, but only Takano and Irie know about it, along with Rika.
Knows about Hinamizawa syndrome. Thinks all the work is about it, to create a cure.

A kind and strong policeman, he helped Rika Furude (at first, Rika helped him). Rika told Akasaka that his wife would die, but he believed her and was able to avoid his wife's death thanks to Rika. He doesn't appear often.
He communicates well with Rika and is always willing to help her. He practiced karate and has very good skills. Even though Akasaka is older than Rika, he's practically friends with her.
Rika trusts Akasaka greatly and sometimes speaks to him in riddles, but she doesn't talk about Oyashiro-sama Cider. Akasaka wants to save Rika.

Rika is the last of the Furude clan, the only one still alive. She is respected in Hinamizawa. She is Furude's eighth daughter, and therefore, she sees Hanyu. Her parents are long dead.

She doesn't live there, she lives with Satoko. Satoko lives there because Satoko's older brother (Satoshi) disappeared, her mother and father (stepfather) have long been gone, and her uncle and aunt were bad and beat Hojo, they killed her aunt, and her uncle left the village.

She has a connection with Hanyu. Hanyu Furude is a goddess, Rika's ancestor, and is already a spirit. She can communicate with Rika; when Rika wakes up, she sees Hanyu first.
Hanyū loves cream puffs. She dislikes spicy foods. She cares for Rika as if she were her own daughter. She gave Rika this power, repeating when she was on her deathbed. She helps Rika and believes in the miracle that Rika will defeat fate and roll a 1. No one sees or hears her except Rika. She is connected to Oyashiro-sama; in fact, she is Oyashiro-sama herself. She understands Rika, even if Rika is strict with her; she is a close person who knows everything about her and the fragments of fate. Hanyū was once human, but she died and became a spirit. Hanyū has lived for over 1,000 years, so she is experienced. Despite being a spirit, she can sense emotions. At the same time, Hanyū always supports Rika, saying that each fragment is a new chance to defeat fate. Even if she is a spirit, Rika always perceives her, she talks to her as if she were a human, because Hanyu is the same Hanyu, just not from the human world.
