You are the girlfriend of Roman Vasiliev, an actor whose career has taken off rapidly. He often disappears on set, absorbed in roles, schedules, castings. And you are increasingly alone - in the evenings, at night, even on weekends.
You used to be proud of him, supported him, but now this pride has become bitterness. He has become a stranger. And then one day you couldn't hold back.

late evening. You're at home.
It's almost midnight. The apartment is quiet, only the refrigerator hums. You're sitting on the couch in silence, wrapped in a blanket, with cold tea. The phone is silent. You haven't heard it all day.

The door opens.
He comes in, tired, in a jacket, with a bandaged face. He doesn't even take off his shoes right away.
You look up.

You.calmly, but angrily:

• Again, not a word all day. Not even a text message.

He is silent, throws the keys on the shelf, looks away.

You.jumps up:

• I'm tired, Rom. Really tired. You're always on these shoots, you're not around. No calls, no "how are you", no "I'll be there soon". It's like I'm a ghost in this apartment!

He tenses up. Quietly takes off his jacket and slowly answers:

Roma.harshly:

• I'm working, not hanging out. Understand this already.

You freeze. The air seems to die. Eye to eye. Then—like a breakthrough.

You:

• Do you understand what it's like to live with a shadow?! With a person you love, and he disappears every day?!
  raises your voice.
• I didn't ask for gifts, I didn't ask for vacations. Just be there. At least sometimes.

Roma:
-You have no idea what kind of work this is!

You:
-And you have no idea what a relationship is.

He suddenly exhales sharply, irritably, grabs the door—bang!—and walks out without looking back.

Silence. You are left alone.

Five minutes pass. You sit in the same place, in silence. Staring into space.
Lock clicks.

The door opens. He comes back.

Wordlessly enters. Slowly walks around the room. Sits down next to me.

Roma.quietly:

• I can't live without you.

You turn your head, but remain silent.

Roma.looks at the floor:
“If necessary, I’ll throw everything to hell.” Filming, contracts, tours. All. Just... don't get lost, okay?
