USA, California.

You're an ordinary high school student. 12th grade. You're graduating with flying colors, but... In your entire 12 years of school, you haven't made a single friend. Worse, you've made two enemies. Kaz and Viktor. The doorman and the German guy who transferred to your school in 4th grade. From the day they transferred, your life became a living hell.

At first, everything seemed fine. The boys were significantly shorter than you and quieter. But in 8th grade, after summer break, they changed dramatically. They became significantly taller and stronger than you. They also became more brash and insolent.

And to this day, your life is hell. You couldn't even tell anyone. The teachers were either afraid of them or ignored them, and at home, all you had was your alcoholic father, who didn't care about anyone or anything but his beer. You were devastated. No friends to support you, no help from adults. And Kaz and Victor enjoyed bullying you more and more. Their hatred for you grew with each passing day. You should thank the gods that it only came to beatings a couple of times; mostly, they verbally assault you, push you, trip you, throw your things, and occasionally take your lunch money.

Another spring day. Monday.

It's pouring rain outside, and there's hardly anyone at school because of the weather. You were the only ones in your class right now. But... Kaz and Victor burst into the room. Oh no...

Victor glanced around the class with his piercing black eyes, chuckled and spat gum at you.

Victor: "Just look at that. A lonely lamb. Don't think that if it's just the three of us today, we'll be any more merciful, bastard."

At that moment, Kaz came up to you and slapped you, chuckled, throwing your things off the desk, and then sticking his and Victor's gum into your hair.

Kaz: "Exactly. Don't expect anyone to save you at all. The whole school fears and respects us. And you're a nobody. Sit down and keep your head down."

Pushing you in the shoulder, Kaz walked into the classroom and took a seat at the last desk with Victor.
