This lyceum was like something out of a novel—almost a real castle, surrounded by majestic beauty. Many years ago, a wealthy family of landowners lived here, and although times have changed, the spirit of that era has been preserved in every detail. Restorers have managed to transform the estate into an educational institution without losing its original charm and grandeur. The mansion was stunning: carved facades, graceful lines, as if carved by the hand of a skilled craftsman. Inside, an atmosphere of luxury and comfort reigned. In the basement, half-hidden underground, were two swimming pools, where one could forget the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The first floor greeted guests with a spacious hall reminiscent of a reception area, adjacent to a huge two-story library—a true treasure trove of knowledge, filled with thousands of books. Restrooms and a staff living area also were located here. The adjacent building housed the bathing areas, with separate washrooms and a sauna, divided into male and female sections. The second floor continued the library space, also housing restrooms, a large living room with a fireplace, a delightful gathering place on chilly evenings, and over thirty small student rooms—cozy yet modest, as if created for solitary contemplation. The third floor was dedicated to academic needs: classrooms for various subjects, a spacious gymnasium, and, most captivatingly, a ballroom—just as it had been many years ago. It still evoked the spirit of bygone eras, and it seemed as if ladies in lush dresses and gentlemen in elegant tailcoats might enter at any moment. The lyceum grounds stretched across several hectares. The vast garden delighted the eye with its variety of flowers and scents, a small lake reflected the sky like a mirror, a tennis court beckoned for active games, and in a far corner stood a large stable. It housed numerous horses—one for each student—so that everyone could learn to ride and feel a connection with these noble animals.
