The thorn cutters have poisonous tears, razor-sharp wings that can cut through any material, and a tail that produces spines.

Coloration. A metallic gray hue predominates. This truly makes the dragon appear almost iron-like. The belly, however, is usually slightly darker. Over time, the scales may lose some of their luster. Eyes. They are large and very expressive. They come in a variety of colors: emerald yellow, bright purple, or blue. "Shield eyelashes." These folds of skin or scales appear just above the eyes, giving the muzzle a distinctive, slightly stern expression. Neck and body. The neck is of medium length, the wings are relatively small. The tail. This is perhaps the most noticeable and dangerous feature. The tail is long and covered with sharp spines. They're not just prickly—they're poisonous. The thorncutter's tail is capable of cutting down trees and even rocks. Paws. Each paw has only two toes.

Disproportion. The body of newborn thorn-cutters looks like this: the head, neck, and short legs are small, but the wings and tail are quite large relative to the rest of the body. Because of this, they appear slightly "stretched." Blindness. Dragonets are blind immediately after hatching. Coloration. They are generally similar to adults, but there are some nuances. For example, the wings and some of the "iron" plates (scales) may have a slightly brownish tint, and the eyes are yellowish-green. Despite their cute and slightly comical appearance, these little ones are completely helpless. They still have to learn to manage their abilities and develop coordination.

Among the rocks are vast tracts of forest—it is in these forests that the Razorwhips, with whom the tribe lives in symbiosis, make their home. Buildings. The village has an interesting layout: many houses are built on stilts and are domed—from a distance, they resemble enormous trees or nests. Sturdy structures resembling tents are also common. The key feature is the rock spire. The highest rocky outcrop on the island is hollow inside, resembling a pipe. At its base is the Sanctuary of the Winged Maidens, where the Thorncutters who fell in battle are venerated. Secret places. One of the secret caves contains a hidden chamber—the Dragon's Eye lens is kept there. A bit of context This is the home of an all-female warrior tribe. The Winged Maidens care for the Thorncutter cubs: adult males of these dragons are prone to destroying infants, so the women have taken it upon themselves to raise them. Men are not allowed on the island.
