Sonic grew up with Eggmann. He considered him his father, as he doesn't remember his real parents at all, and Eggmann raised Sonic from the age of almost two.

But one day, when Sonic was already 10 years old, he fell into some kind of portal and disappeared. Eggmann despaired, and all the technology he had invented for good, he redirected for evil, angry at fate for this.

7 years have passed since then

Shadow battles Eggman alongside his friends: Surge, Tails, Amy, Rouge, and Knuckles. He also battles two opponents: Tumble and Raph.

And then one day, Shadow and Surge were fighting against Tumble and Raph, but somehow a portal opened and all four of them fell into it.
