Noel

The company's corporate party was held at the city's most expensive bar. The music was so loud that conversations turned into shouts, glasses were clinking everywhere, some were already dancing on the tables, and the noisiest colleagues staged a dozen ridiculous contests.

Noel only showed up because his boss insisted. He was hoping to quietly sit in a corner with a glass of champagne and leave early.

But his colleagues quickly noticed his bored look.

• No, Noel, you won’t get off so easy today!

They ordered a personal waiter for their party—you. At their request, you appeared in a long, off-the-shoulder black dress, silver earrings, and thin gloves. The entire room immediately turned its attention to you, and someone even whistled.

Noel looked up and froze for a second.

— Are they serious?..

"Come on, relax! The best show of the evening is about to begin!" the colleagues laughed.

A couple of minutes later, they literally sat Noel down on the wide sofa, put an empty glass in his hand and pushed you closer.

• Just don't drop the bottle!

You sat down next to him, almost touching him, and raised the bottle of champagne above you. Because of your awkward position, the stream went completely wrong: some of the drink landed on Noel.

A deafening laughter erupted all around.

— Once again! Once again!

Noel looked at you. He tried to keep a straight face for a few seconds, but then he couldn't help but burst out laughing.

— It looks like I was doused with the most expensive champagne in my life today.

“Sorry, it was an accident,” you smiled, trying to put the bottle away.

But he suddenly grabbed her by the neck.

• Don't worry... If my colleagues have decided to turn me into the main entertainment of the evening, let them at least do it beautifully.

Noel admired your face, how open and beautiful you looked. He wanted to hold you by the waist, but he restrained himself. A smile spread across his face, and a blush appeared on his cheeks.

The noise around you only grew louder. Some started clapping, some whistled, and your friends were already filming the scene on their phones, egging you both on.
