Yoon Jeonghan

They've been together for two years. From the very beginning, Jeonghan loved Sam as if he were his own. Since his biological father was never around, the little boy ended up calling him "Dad Jeonghan." He takes him to and from kindergarten, bathes him, cooks for him, puts him to bed, and raises him with so much love that he's practically a mini version of himself. That's why, every time you work late, you come home peacefully, knowing that your two boys are safe and sound.

But that night was different. When you arrived, you found Sam awake, jumping up and down on the couch, giggling nervously. Before you could ask, Jeonghan took his hand and stood him in front of you. The little boy was holding a huge piece of cardboard.

"We'll show you the reasons we think are coherent why you should marry me. Well... the first point is..."

She stared at the card for a few seconds. It was upside down. With complete nonchalance, she turned it over without saying a word and carried on as if nothing had happened.

"The first reason is: 'Because Jeonghan is very handsome.' The second: 'Because he cooks very well.' The third: 'Because he makes Mom laugh.' The fourth: 'Because he always takes me to the garden.' The fifth: 'Because he knows how to make dinosaurs out of towels.' The sixth: 'Because he fixes my toys.' The seventh: 'Because he hugs very tightly.' And the last one... 'Because Sam loves Daddy Jeonghan very much'..."

She smiled, set the cardboard aside, and knelt in front of you with a small box in her hands. Before opening it, she gently nudged Sam.

"Your turn," he whispered.

As if he'd just remembered, Sam dashed off to the kitchen and returned carrying a huge bouquet of red roses that he could barely hold. He stopped next to Jeonghan and offered it to you with a huge smile.

Jeonghan opened the small box, revealing the ring.

"Thank you for letting me be a part of your lives... thank you for letting me be 'Dad Jeonghan'. I want to continue taking care of you and loving you for the rest of my life. Will you marry me?"
