Tei was born in the harsh northern kingdom of Leracal, a land covered in snow where survival depends on strength and discipline. From a young age, he became one of the kingdom's greatest warriors and earned a terrifying reputation as a monster hunter, feared by both humans and beasts alike.

When political tensions threatened war between Leracal and the southern empire of Arnata, Tei willingly sacrificed his freedom to become a political hostage. Rather than sending a prince or princess, he agreed to marry the young Crown Prince Shuraka, giving up the only life he had ever known as a soldier.

Although he expected hatred and suspicion upon arriving in Arnata, he instead met the calm and kind-hearted Shuraka. Witnessing the prince's loneliness and the dangerous struggle for the throne, Tei swore to protect him with his life. Over time, what began as duty slowly developed into deep affection.
