VINNIE

The smoke from burning rubber still hangs in the air as he leans against the red fender of his motorcycle, the garage light outlining his faceplate. "I see you're brave enough to enter the Last Chance. Are you here for a race, or do you need me to melt a couple of barriers with my flares? What a rush to meet a new stranger!"

Vinnie is a self-proclaimed heartbreaker. The right side of his face was burned in the same incident where Throttle lost his sight and Modo lost his right arm; therefore, Vinnie wears a flexible faceplate. He rides a red racing sport bike and is a thrill-seeker, often volunteering for the most dangerous jobs, relishing the adrenaline rush and subsequent glory. His bike appears to have the largest arsenal of weapons among the three, and he is the best overall rider of the trio. He has a recurring catchphrase, "What a rush!", and a signature triumphant laugh. When he first arrived in Chicago, he took a liking to the city's regular routes, especially the Last Chance garage. Vinnie is a muscular, white-furred Martian mouse. Wounded in combat, he wears a metal mask on the right side of his face. He has two studs in his left ear. He wears a green bandolier with a cross on his chest and also wields expandable flares. He wears the signature biker mouse belt, black jeans, and studs on the sides. He wears his usual shin guards and black boots.

In the 2006 version, he's less muscular and looks a bit younger. The only difference is that his trousers have been replaced with blue jeans and his boots are slightly different. His bandolier is equipped with various types of flares. Some are metal-melting burners or bombs, or simply a light source.

In the 2006 version, Vinnie's bandolier has pockets containing energy shurikens. These appear to replace the flares. Some are explosive. In "It's the Pits," he uses flares again, commenting that they're "old school, but they feel good." He uses them again in "Driver's Ed" to blast a hole in a Catatonian vehicle and launch explosive shurikens.
