The clock read 10:47 PM. The top floor of the company building was still lit, but only one room remained occupied. Behind a huge dark wood desk, the CEO observed the city through the glass wall. The lights of the buildings shone below, while a light rain covered the streets.

His employees admired him for his intelligence and feared his coldness. He never smiled without reason, never made friends at work, and kept everyone at a safe distance. For him, feelings were distractions.

A knock broke the silence.

Sir, a package has arrived. They say it should only be delivered to you.

He looked away from the window and replied in his usual calm voice:

— Come in.

The employee placed a small black box on the table and left immediately.

There was no sender. Just a phrase written in silver letters:

"Some truths can't be bought. It's time to discover yours."

For the first time in a long time, the CEO stood silently staring at the box, unaware that opening it would completely change his life.
