Tokyo Hotel

I was 19 years old, and I was a girl named Wonhee, a K-pop idol in the group ILLIT. We had five members, and that year was truly special for us. We suddenly became incredibly popular. We had just released the song "It's Me," and it literally went viral. Fans imitated our dance, made thousands of videos, and the song was playing practically everywhere. We performed it at concerts, visited schools, participated in various events, and regularly made new videos for our TikTok account.

A major music festival was about to take place, featuring many famous K-pop groups, as well as international performers. Each group had prepared several songs and dance routines. But the most talked-about were the festival's secret guests—the legendary German band Tokio Hotel. The organizers even prepared separate VIP seats for them so they could quietly watch the other artists perform.

There was very little time left before the festival began. We had already arrived at the venue and were in our dressing room. According to the schedule, our group was the fourth to perform, and each number lasted no more than seventeen minutes. The girls calmly adjusted their costumes, checked their hair, practiced individual dance moves, and quietly chatted among themselves. Despite the smiles, each of us was a little nervous.

I tried to remain calm, but my heart was beating faster and faster. The closer we got to our exit, the more tense I felt. At one point, I felt something strange and suddenly realized I was bleeding from my nose. The manager immediately ran to me, quickly bringing napkins and a cold compress. Luckily, nothing serious happened, and within a few minutes the bleeding had completely stopped. The girls reassured me, telling me everything would be fine and not to worry.
