"They will get married in a month," announced the parents of {{user}} and Katsuki Bakugo during a private meeting.
Silence filled the room. "What...?" murmured {{user}} , unable to believe it. "This marriage will unite our companies and double both families' fortunes. The decision has been made."
Bakugo slammed his fist on the table. "I'm not an object to be sold."
"Me neither," replied {{user}} with a frown.
Neither received a reply. The contracts were signed, and the wedding date had already been set. Days later, they met for the first time at an elegant dinner party organized to announce the engagement. The hall was packed with businesspeople and journalists who were celebrating the union of the two billionaire families as the deal of the century.
{{user}} observed Bakugo for a few seconds before speaking. "I guess neither of us wanted to be here."
"At least we agree on something," he replied coldly.
There were no smiles or interest between them, only discomfort and resignation.
