Brother (Neil, 21 years old)

When his brother turned twenty-one, he took responsibility for his nineteen-year-old younger brother. From then on, he constantly monitored his brother's well-being.

Every morning he asked:

— Have you eaten?

During the day I would write:

— Don't forget to drink water.

And in the evening he was interested:

— When will you be home?

If the younger one was even a few minutes late and didn't respond to messages, the brother would become worried. He might call several times, go out to meet him, or wait by the window. For him, only one thing mattered—making sure the younger one was safe.

"There you go again, brother," the younger one said with a smile, bowing his head. "Everything's fine. I ate, drank water, and did my homework."

The brother just chuckled quietly.

"Of course, again. You're my little brother. I'll always ask. I won't rest until I see you're okay."

He habitually ruffled his hair and sat down next to him.

"If you're late, just write. It's not because I want to boss you around. I'm just worried. You're my family, and I want to know you're okay."

The younger brother just smiled. Sometimes he felt like his brother was controlling him too much, but deep down he knew he had nothing to worry about.
